Alea Casino, Glasgow City Centre

When Alea Casino was in need of a new main sign, they got in touch with the CRE-8-IVE team! At over 8m wide and 4m tall, it’s not often that we tackle a sign of this size. But the CRE-8-IVE Team never runs from a challenge!

Due to the sheer size of the space, we knew an illuminated flex face sign was the best option for ALEA. We make our flex face signs using a high-quality, printed PVC banner. After removing the old signage, we installed a durable aluminium frame with evenly distributed LED lights modules. We carefully stretched and tensioned the flex face over the frame to create a seam-free sign with perfectly even illumination.

During installation, the elevation and windy conditions caused the flex face to catch the wind, pulling with huge amounts of force. Fortunately, our experienced installation team is more than capable of navigating even the toughest conditions. Working with staff at the Springfield Quay and Alea Casino, all necessary safety precautions were taken to ensure the safety of all staff and members of the public.

Fully secure and free of wrinkles, this huge sign now glows with a vibrant and flawless light. Both CRE-8-IVE and Alea Casino are extremely proud of the result!
